Compassionate Care, Personalized Solutions

Our mission is simple: to provide accessible and compassionate mental health care to all. We believe in fostering resilience, promoting growth, and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives on their terms.

Uganda Richardson LCSW is a mental health counseling and racial justice warrior. Uganda founded her private practice in 2018 in Oklahoma. The practice of mental health was born out of Uganda’s desire to fight for the rights of humans, through walking with them through life’s difficulties. The idea of starting a practice came to Uganda after the struggle of her own mental health and that of her family. Uganda recognized and felt how personal grief and trauma can impact an individual and a family. Uganda took trainings related to racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, along with training in assessment, tools and interventions for racial trauma.

Uganda specializes in affirming services to Black individuals and families with racial trauma. Uganda offers Black and Brown people liberty to be themselves in therapeutic space so they can heal forward regardless of systematic disappointments. Uganda uses different models of therapy to help individuals with their healing journey. She uses a blend of traditional psychotherapy, feminism, person-centered, humanistic, existential, Harm Reduction therapy, EMDR, reflexive therapy, mindfulness and some somatic work.

‍Uganda Richardson LCSW, LLC is open to serving people from diverse backgrounds. Uganda believes we all have a story to tell and we all come from a narrative that has yet to be told.
